Edius 5 simple compositing

Edius 5.5: what are you out there using as a simple (drawing lines, curves, etc.) "compositing" tool for Edius 5.5?

Unfortunately EDIUS 5, not have drawing tool.

Instead EDIUS 6, if you're more likely... specifically the new filter "Mask" will allow everything you want to do on selections from freehand drawing to use EDIUS composition.

And why not to use any of the titles EDIUS 5: Quick Titler, Title Motion Pro or Vistitle, which also has drawing lines and curves preset.
