  • 384 audio bitrate in TMPGEnc 4

I'm experimenting making a Bluray disc and if I choose 384 for the audio Bitrate in Tmpgenc 4 it goes over the recommended settings.
Should I stay with 256 bitrate?

    Thanks.

It is often a good thing to follow specs, in that case you will have a piece of mind that your work will play on any player.
My self having no experience with bd, I use often ac3 with 384 bit Audio on dvd's with no issues at all.

Re visiting your post (didn't look at your png on my phone) you can't go over your settings there, it won't fit !
Overburn from days long gone won't work on bd.

reduce your video bitrate until it shows 98%

and if you still need to add a menu, use 96% or less

also, you may consider unlocking the mepg output to get your advanced settings

OK Anton, I changed the Audio to 384 and reduced the video bitrate.
Is there something in the advanced settings I should change as well?.

          Thanks.

yes, you have more control over many items such as DG comp (10bit) and motion search (high)

I saw that Anton, I would sometimes change motion search to High.

              Thanks.
