  • Title Motion Pro or Vistitle

Of the 2, Title Motion Pro or Vistitle, which is the better titler.
I know nothing of Vistitle other than what I see on their site.
I really like Title Motion Pro but is Vistitle the more powerful software? I had never heard of it before.

Vistitle is tons better than TMP. TMP is pretty much a dead product for Edius while Vistitle is being improved daily. Read some of the posts in the Third Party Forum

How do you learn this program? I downloaded the tutorial and it was a little vague. It this program a titler or a replacement for After Effects?

Try the trial and read the tutorial. It is a little confusing at first, but once you play with it a few times it will start to come to you.
This is not a replacemeht for After Effects. However, if you are familiar with AE
it will be much easier for you to pick up some of the functions. It works very similar to AE with keyframes and such.

I actually tell people that Vistitle is like a mini AE for Titles.
Open the Vistitle demo and the tutorials and do the steps shown. After you get a little hand on time it will make sense. I think this is much like I used to hear about playing Bridge...easy to learn, takes some time to become a master.
