Has anyone tried these FX, We bought it to use the clock, but have found it difficult to use as it does not retain your setting and is quirky. Also crashed our system once so far.

I found Prodad to be very stable with the files I edit but NewBlue I found would from time to time cause no end of issues so took them off and had a very stable system
Others might have a different experience from me but I dont think I'll bother with them again (Plus they were very 'slow' effects, always needing a render)
I have used a couple of the effects, Magnifying glass etc but no problem so far, will try the clock and let you know
Regards Barry
Thank You. I need to make a clock that counts up to 71 min. and one that goes to 13 min. If I knew anything about after FX I might be able to do, but I don't.

Just tried it with no problems even used the keyframes without a problem
To see the video in the background, de select the "overlay" under the style
Works on a sequence too
Needs rendering!

Edius 5.51. I uninstalled and reinstalled, but still have the problem. It does not retain the settings.

Do any of the other filters / Keyers fail or is it just that one or just the Keyers and if you have any of the other NewBlue filters are they working OK
I have them all and they have all worked slow but flawlessly needing rendering
Perhaps giving NewBlue a call / email may give a clue
They were very good when my set kept asking to be re registered every time I used them and the reply was prompt and worked
Have you tried re downloading and installing the filter using the original URL?
It's a Bummer when things won't work on your machine and others are OK, could even be a conflict with another program on your system

The other filter in that set act odd as well, I have contacted NewBlue, but they have not seen the problem before(of course). I'll keep you posted.
