I don't have Bluff Titler, but I will say that VisTitle is the best titler I have seen in about 10 years. Like a mini After Effects for Titlers.

BluffTitler is a good product for 3D title compositing, and it have real 3D text, have particles, plasma layer and other good features.

But I think it is only suitalbe for some short 3D text effect, my means is that if you just do little title work, and want have excellent 3D effect, you can try BluffTitler. Remember, it maybe cannot create a "Rectangle" object.

In addition, in my memory, it have not a plugin for EDIUS, it is a standalone program, you will have to render and export image sequence files to disk files, and then import these files to edius, and if you want to modify, do those jobs again.

VisTitle is designed for EDIUS, and intergrated with EDIUS, it can do a lots of title jobs which is not avaliable in BluffTitler.

Any way, I think that VisTitle and BluffTitler is not same product, maybe we should not compare them. :)

awww...what an insights from you guy's inputs.

Yes, blufftitler & Vis Tilte are of different class no doubt.

Under corporate video production sense, bluff title may seems easier to create but for Vis Title, there are more tweaks available than the earlier said. I had also read feedback from bluff titler users about its 'resolutions' issue.

The main push factor of Bluff titler for me is a non-Edius plugins. That essentially affects the work flows during my post-production works. If given a choice, I may still consider Vis Tile despite it higher pricing. Its definitely a much versatile titler to be bundled with Edius thus far IMO.

Btw, any cue for me to get a Vis Tile in Singapore ??? Is the price still USD$599 now ???

            Thanks in advance guys!

For me personally, the closest program to Vistitle is the titler in After Effects.
That is what I was using, for the most part, for my titles. Vistitle is at 1.1 and working on 1.2 now. For a new program, issues are being addressed quickly and promptly.
It is a very good titler that can do more than you will probably use.

Wow... price at USD$379. I hope its still holds a promo price at USG$299 as prior at its recent NAB exhibitiion.

Yeah. I guessed Vis title would be more suitable for me compared to Bluff Titler.

Im wondering if Vis Title would be participating in the coming Communic & Broadcast Asia in Singapore next month which i can get a copy of it from them locally??

Thanks guys. Have a feelings that Vis Title may be bundled with our next generation of Edius 6. Haha..If that happens, would be a great blessings to us all!

                      Cheers.

Personally havent used Blufftitler, but i have Vistitle and it is awesome, apart from the odd crashes which 1.2 will hopefully resolve. Who knows as Sync says maybe it will be bundled in with Edius 6....

                            VisTitle is officially Awesome!

As a longtime EDIUS user and a longtime After Effects user, I can tell you that VisTitler is the best thing to come along for EDIUS users in a long time.

While not completely "perfect" - it is way better than Inscriber TitleMotion and much more sophisticated than the easy-to-use QuickTitler.

VisTitle brings extremely powerful toolset for advanced users that understand concepts like keyframing and bezier splines, etc.

For novices, there are simple tools for quickly applying particle animations and character-by-character animation moves to a word or multiple lines of text. Thankfully these templates make quick work of flying in a line or phrase letter-by-letter.

Be fore-warned however that, like Adobe After Effects and Photoshop, it will take you some time to learn the concepts and feature-set. This is a very deep program and there it is obvious that a LOT of thought that has gone into designing the software UI and Toolsets.

Like Inscriber TitleMotion, VisTitle also includes tons of well crafted presets for font styles, lower thirds and drawing objects/primitives.

My overall rating for VisTitle 1.5 is 8.5 on scale of 1-10.
