  • Canopus VideoOut Plugin Issue

    Hi everyone,

    Newbie here for the forums.

I have been an Edius user since its jurassic days but i have an isuue now with the Video Out plugin for After Effects.

I have used all versions on After Effects using the plugin with NO issues at all.

I now upgraded to After Effects CS4 and the AE CS4 splash screen just locks up when it finds the Canopus VideoOut filter ( it says "cleaning up" etc ). It doesnt go anywhere. I even thought i was being inpatient and left it stay there for an hour when i went out.

I put the plugins in the normal plugins folder of after effects. Unless there is another way of doing this then i dont know.

Has anyone had this problem before?

    Cheers

    JJ

Do you have the latest Video Out plugin?

Does removing the plugin allow CS4 to start?

IIRC I did not have a problem with any kind of start with the Video Plugin but I could not get it to work in CS4

Not much help from me....but just to say AE CS4 and the 1.24 V/Out plugin pack is currently working fine for me with HDStorm over HDMI.

          Regards

Will this plugin work with the HDSpark card also?
