how can I get Canopus DV AVI codec ?

I work here in old Germany still with Canopus Lets Edit but unfortunately the Codec is broken. So how can I get a new one ?

You can also download a decode-only version of the codec from the Support site -- that would allow you to transcode existing files that use the Canopus codecs to another format.

thanks, I have downloaded the DV Codec from the support site, but there is a message, NOT to install if on the PC is allready an Canopus Edit Product - what may happen if I would install ?

??? If you already have a GV product, you should reinstall that and the codec is provided. The decode download is only for people who do not have a product.

That is correct. The wrong advice was given 2 posts back.
The Editing product has encode/decode that why I suggested a reinstall .
That is the best way.
