I have Sony DSR-DU1 hardisk recorder, the file store in this use .DLX file.
Can EDIUS have a plugin to import this file format? Adobe Premiere and Sony Vegas can import and edit this file direcly.
    thanks!

IIRC, we were one of the first to support it... but I could be wrong. Have you tried the EDIUS demo?

      Thanks for answer me!
I use EDIUS 5 disk include in EDIUS NX to install, with USB dongle.

When i trying to import .DLX file EDIUS say: "Failed to open file. [Could not open file I:\DV\001.dlx ]"

Did you update to 5.01 or is the disk 5.01?

Hmm... I might be incorrect in my memory. Are there any other file types on the drive?

Usually there's some kind of XML file that "ties" all of the individual files together as one logical asset.

            Instruction off the disk:
Disk have two folder: DV and SYS
SYS: i think it have some setting off DSR-DU1
In the DV folder i have: (see the image below)

            In the 001 folder:

I open the 001.dlx with notepad and see some text:
            -----------------------
            PAL
            1
            67310
            0001 0 67310 0
            -----------------------
I think the media stored in .DVD file, i tried to rename 00001.DVD to 00001.MPG or 00001.AVI (maybe it work :) )
But it don't work, i play the file with media player, it say: "Can not render file"

Maybe I tried update EDIUS to 5.01 to fix this problem?

Ooops, my mistake. It seems Rextor was the one that supported the DSR-DU1... Further inquiry is required for the EDIUS front.
