dcr-vx2100 Sony timecode sync

I'm not sure where to put this since I didn't see a general tech support section so if there is an appropriate place to ask this then please re-direct me.

As the title says, I am trying to sync the timecodes of two model dcr-vx2100 Sony cameras. I tried to use the remote to operate all three menus at the same time, but I don't think there is a way to even get to the menu with the remote. At least, not one that I can find. Does anyone have any helpful advice?
