  • Korg nanoKontrol 2 with Edius X or any other hardware?

    Hi,

I just got a 8 channel USB fader unit (not motorised) which is perfectly working with several DAW's, but cant get to work with Edius X. It's using Mackie controllset, but seems not to be compatible with Edius X.
Did someone of you get this faderunit to work? Or which device is working well with Edius X? I see in the config the Behringer BCF2000, but as i read on several forums, this is also not fully compatible, have a lot of issues.

    Thank you!!

The BCF2000 is the closest you will get to a working controller within Edius. I looked at the Korg as a possible controller. Eventually, decided
against it due to how Edius works. If it works in other daws, at least it isn't a complete waste.

Thanks. Yes i tried a lot of settings for the Korg, also Mackie settings, but could not get connect to edius. However i'm using also Ableton Live, where the Korg nanoKontrol is working fine.
I'll than look for the BCF2000, but its discontinued, hard to find here (in Hungary or the EU).

If GV would implement something like HUI control, it would open the door to using a lot of those smaller control surfaces for audio work.

I personally don't normally require an audio control surface for the work I do, but if I had the ability to use something like a basic HUI controller I might even consider an inexpensive one for the occasional time where it may come in handy.

Bcf200 will give you motorised control of faders in Edius and a few other control as well maybe not as many as it does in a DAW. It also works with several other NLE
