  • Need The Fastest Rendering

I've got a fast setup, with an X99 MB, i7-5930K, Samsung SSD, Nvidia 750ti, and I'm looking to radically improve render times.

Regardless of cost, what do I need to do to put a serious dent in my render times? I know that graphics card I have is the weak spot, but will a new one make a big difference? Would an M.2 SSD render faster than a SATA SSD? Running Edius 8.22.

What are you having to render? Or are you talking about exporting?

What project preset are you rendering from and what format are you exporting too?

Also he wouldn't need to get a new system, his motherboard should support the 6950X with a BIOS update

Most of my exporting is to .mov or .wmv and usually takes 2-4x the original length of the material. I also do blu-ray exports to disc and those seem to take forever. It would be nice to get some speed on those especially.

Maybe it's my settings? I try to keep the quality as high as possible to avoid artifacts like blockiness.
