    Now that Edius is much faster (64 bit and all) Are there really any advantages of having a Nvida card over just the on board Intel cards?

    Edius is a little faster. That is software optimization. What you are talking about is cpu and gpu horsepower. After all, the speed at which Edius performs is directly related to speed of the cpu and gpu.

      Well the reason I upgraded to Edius 7 was the performance boost which i really see. I guess I need to run some tests to see if I really need my nvidia card anymore for the work I do. The only thing it really does is accelerate GPU f/x right?
