Camcorder DVD-VR Disc

Will try to keep this question short. Do not know much about DVD-VR dics but to me it looked like it captures video in short segments. Like it has a title then a bunch of chapters. So when I did a discapture in Edius it would show like the first chapter and nothing else. When the capture was done it only had the short first segment. So I used Ulead to import the DVD and it showed all chapters then burned a dvd from Ulead and then discaptuered into Edius and it had everything. Asked Mike Downey and he was not sure why it did not get all chapters. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Told him I would post this question here. Do not have the disc now it was a customers. Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't know much about those but it could be that within a chapter camera starts /stops are seen by edius when the divide options are selected.

You got me thinking and was wondering if in the Discapture setting I should have checked the DVD-VR setting to be at each cell and not each program. Now I will have to wait till I get another one of those discs. Thanks for the quick response and that is why I love this forum.
