  • Audio Input Setting

I have found a setting that I don't know the use for and wonder if anyone has an explanation:

    Edius 4.61
    - Capture
    - Input Settings
    - Audio y/n Convert 16 bit/2 Ch

When would you select this audio setting? Currently the box is unchecked.

    Thanks.

when capturing via NX or SP, it usually captures to 24bit audio, so you can tell Edius to convert to 16bit while capturing, 16bit is what you need for DVD production, so I keep it ticked
