I accidently deleted a project folder and now I can't erase it from the startup screen... Any ideas on how to delete projects so they won't appear there? Thanks!

No (official) way for this, it is (imho) for 50% a feature, and for the other 50% deficit
feature = have you projects on removable disks, they shows ditto offline if the disk is not aviable for the OS
but with change the (fo this offline-project) correct disk, .......... yupp it shows online, ready to start.....
open your last 5 online- project's, >> and the "offline-Project" will go out of your starscreen (settings " display the last 5 projects")
(unofficial way = editing files .... your risk ... and needs more time as opening the last 5 projects, or i.e. make 5 dummy projects)
