AVCHD exporter plugin problem

I am trying, without success, to add the AVCHD exporter plugin to my preset list. I`ve clicked on the import preset icon, located the preset file (212kb), get an import succeeded message, but nothing appears in the right hand exporter window when I click on AVCHD in the LH window.

What am I doing wrong? Or what am I missing?

WHat are you trying to do exactly?
You can export avchd right from the time line in Edius with its exporter.
Just tick enable conversion.

Where your thumbnails show a multitude of AVCHD formats, I have a blank window. This doesn`t seem right to me. I am not actually trying to export AVCHD at this time, just checking out which formats are supported.

Edit update: Just opened Edius again and ticked enable conversion and details show up! Thanks for that advice. I had missed the enable conversion instruction in the manual.

I started looking in the new manual at pp619-20, fig 767 the Select Export Plug-In Dialog. A reference to checking the Enable Conversion box at this point in the manual would be useful for people like me hunting through the manual index.

While the manual is getting better, the index has not. Hopefully that will change soon.
