  • Must shift right and left audio channel but how?

    I connected my two mono mikrophones to CH1 and CH2 on the camera. But unfortunately the right and left audio channel is shifted. I have not been able to change this on the timeline. Have tried the mapping in project settings for that particular track but that did not have the effect I wished.
    Is it possible to shift the CH1 and CH2 channel and thus get right and left audio on the correct place? I am using Edius 5.

    If I understood you well...
    Timeline audio clip->properties->audio options->switch to mono 1/mono2?

    EDIT: I'm not using 5.0, but I guess you can try this.

      Very simple :

      Use audio mapping to have :

      1 A1 and A2 like normal mapping
      2 Go to the sequence tab right clip to bring up the mapping.
      3
      Now map the audio of A1 to go to channel 2 out

      Look in My picture :
      Look at the audio mixer it shows you what is happening.
      I have mapped ch1 1A you see it is left to go out to ch2 on the master you see the audio is going out on the right.

      Left me know if this is what you where after.
      Very easy :)

        Once you get audio mapped to A1 and A2, the Panpot and Balance filter will also work.

          Exellent advice. Shifting of the two audio tracks worked fine. Will try to remember this the next time I connect microphones to the wrong channels!
          Thank you!
