cant read avi's on CITIDISK

CITIDISK called me back. I have to have a Matrox Codec and I'd be ok or have Premier Pro 2 and the codec. They say I can get a free codec at mainconcept and I have a buddy with Premier 2.0. so I'm going to get this converted then NEVER touch that format again. :)

Fair enough - for what it's worth, if you had the mainconcept codec and EDIUS v4.5 on your system, you'd probably be able to load it in.

But of course, 4.5 isn't due till Q3..

What you also can try is install the matrox hd codecs on your edius system and maybe it will read the file.
Edius is great at this.
