  • Video Track size

Maybe this is the wrong section.....

In order to change video track size, I have to right click on the name
of the track and choose a number from 1 through 5 to select the right
    track size for me.

Is there any way to start EDIUS with a specific track size ?

    Thanks

    This is the right section...
You mean default Track Height for a new project?

You'd think Edius should remember it's last setting, like it does with screen layout.

Yes I mean that, default Track Height. Actually is set to "2", and
I'd like to change it permanently to another value.

What you can do and this is:
Create empty project for the project presets you most use.
Now when you start a new project put the track height to your liking.
        Save as preset name

When you want to edit open one of you made presets and use save as name of project. You have the track size you want. :)

The only down side to this approach is that when you want to make a new sequence tab you have to import that empty project instead of using the make new sequence command.

Along the lines of STeve's post...I recommend that everyone set up a default project where everything is as you like. Save that project and then always use that as a template instead of starting a new project. Just make sure that everytime you open the default project you immediately save as to whatever name you want the new projct to be.
