HD Storm Edius 5 new install and TMPro

That makes sense now.

It was suggested previously that while the bundled version didn't include TMP, it wouldn't install TMP if you already owned it and the only way was 'shoehorning'.

Ok, really confused. Which part is correct? The bundled version, that is included with HDSTORM, will or will not look for a V4 TMP disk?
(I realise TMP is not INCLUDED with the bundled version.)

Sorry- If you buy a HDStorm/PLUS there is no TMP included.
If you buy EDIUS upgrade it is included as long as you have a version 4 TMP disc to verify.

As you already have an EDIUS 5 upgrade and a EDIUS 4 with TMP, you could simply use the TMP from those two products to install on the HDStorm system as well, although technically you would be breaking the license agreement (so i don't recommend that) lol :)

Thanks Mark. That explains why nobody wanted to answer my previous questions. I'm sure there's some logical reason why it's not included and why it removes/deletes/ignores the previous installed TMP...... I just can't think of any.

There has been much confusion and mis-information about the bundled versions of Edius and TMP. Here's the facts-:

The bundled version of Edius includes a TMP disc. It will ask for a V3 or V4 TMP disc before it installs. As long as you own V3 or V4 TMP there is no issue.

I have been told three versions of what was included and all were incorrect.

I believe that is the case - it will ask for a v4 TMP disc for verification.

I have 2 seperated Edius system Edius 4.61 & Edius 5.01
In 5.01 do not have TMpro, I try to install TMprobundle in 4.61 to install in 5.10
but can not install.Please help
