  • once videos r on timeline how do u edit? how do u cut and transition & filter?

    hi guys,
as the subject line sujests i have my videos in the bin, i have organised folders in the bin, i have dragged videos onto the timeline, but i cant figure out how to cut videos, split videos, transition, or add filters

i guess first i need to find out how to split the clip first because i dont want to apply a filter to the whole clip... i also cant add a transition until i figure out how to split a clip

    AUDIO
i know how to seperate audio from a video BUT can i seperate the audio channels to filter out static and bad interferance?

Hi Skybrady, about time to have a look at the "training" links on this site or get Mike Downey's training DVD.
Getting some of the basics under the belt will help you heaps before asking specific questions.

          awesome
believe it or not the simple act of cutting

*c* by the way... is not on the videos or the instruction guide.. i found it by error.

now tackling other things like transition length which isnt as easy as i thought!

Rt Click on the transition and choose Duration... There are many other ways to do this
