  • Edius Broadcast for $699 - legitimate?

I received an email today offering Edius Broadcast 4 for $699 through the end of June, instead of the regular retail price of $999. I'm not necessarily in the market for this anyway, but I'm curious whether people think this is legit:

Edius 6.5 on Lenovo W520 laptop: Intel Core i7-2720QM @2.2 GHz, Nvidia graphics card, 8GB RAM, Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Canon Vixia HF-G10, three Sony HDV video cameras and one Canon 7D.

    It rarely hurts to check.

Specialized Communications is an authorized dealer, so this deal should be good. In fact, I recall them having a P2HD Clinic recently that featured EDIUS , and of course P2.

Thanks Brandon, that's useful info -- if not for me than hopefully for others.
