  • Keyframing the layout tool

    Hi Folks,

Took the plunge and installed E5. So far, no major issues.

One question regarding keyframing the layout tool. I put a still on the timeline, set a zoom level at the beginning and add a keyframe. Set a different level at the end and add keyframe. However, it seems that the layout tool defaults to a "spline" (correct name?) movement. That is: The beginning of the movement is slow and speeds up towards the middle and then slows down again towards the end of the clip.

Surely it should be a constant speed, unless I specify otherwise?

    Thanks
    Martin

right click any keyframe and choose select all, then right click and choose linear, this will set all to linear

if you don't want all on linear, then only right click the ones you wish to change

I was sure I had tried that and saw no option. I guess I didn't look hard enough. I'll try again when back at my editing station.

Thanks Anton - how do you figure out all these things!
