    what are the latest Asus boards that are compatible for Edius 5, posted earlier thread that the ones listed on the hardware compatiblity list are impossible to find. they must be older boards.
    need a model that will handle hd well.

    The mobo won't have a lot to do with the HD capability but the Asus P5Q series are fine with Edius.

      Check out the Gigabyte GA-X48-DQ6 board, a bit dear, but well worth the money and is Edius approved.

        The P5K64 WS is a rock and IS TGV approved. Add a Quadro 1700 and a Rocket Raid 2310 and you got a solid performer at a reasonable price.
