Edius install insists on Japanese

I have a USA Win XP system (I'm in the US), but I have the Japanese AND English language bars installed because I edit in Japanese sometimes.

On Edius install start, it selects Japanese automatically and EVERYTHING for the install program is in Japanese. I even removed Japanese from the language bar and rebooted to try to stop this behavior, but still it wants to install in Japanese.

Any idea how to FORCE an English install? This is really weird...

How about your regional settings in windows, are all set to English or some settings on Japanese ?

The advanced tab stillhad one box checked Japanese. Changed the drop down, rebooted and it worked IN ENGLISH. Still, this is a pretty annoying bug in Edius' install program. If there are multiple language packs installed, it should ask which you want to use.

Good for you that you have solved your problem, but this can not be blamed on Edius, All Multi language software behaves like this.

Edius did what it was supposed to do in this particular situation, even if it brought you trouble ...........
