EDIUS NX & HDV Capture...

Dear all,

I want to use an Mainboard without any Firewire controller.

Is there any way to capture HDV footage from NX's firewire?

What if I turned NX to ADVC MODE, start EDIUS 5 and select Generic HDV -input?

Will it work?

if you install the HDV option board and connect it with the internal firewire cable to the mainboard you can capture HDV as well... you don't need a separate firewire controller...
ADVC mode is DV only...
