Just wondering if this issue has been resolved yet? I didn't see any positive posts on this, but was relieved to find out it wasn't my setup, but a common problem with those trying to use a Canon DV camcorder (in my case an Optura 20) inside of Edius 4.61 through the Storm's DV input.
If I hit stop on the cam itself I can get control back of Edius, but only momentarily. Really bizarre that it would work in previous iterations, but get broken in 4.6.
Are there any disadvantages (besides physical hookup location) to using OHCI capture instead of the DV Storm. Are you losing anything in the process, slower feedback/response time, etc.?
I DO notice there is a slight delay in the audio playing when you first start playback or capture. It is NOT out of sync, it's just that there is no audio at all for a second or two. I don't remember if this happened with the Storm DV input or not.
