How do you control the HDCAM deck with the nx? (firewire?)
WHat is your project setting and what codec are you capturing to?
Do you know the framerate of the HDCAM footage?

Probs capturing from HD-Cam
Hi there!
1st I want to excuse me for my poor english and my total noobness on this materia (I hope you'll understand anyway =:))
A friend of mine got a new PC (AMD Phenom X4 9950, Fire GL V5700, MSI M3N-something) and plugged in his Canopus Edius NX (PCIX) and the Edius NHX-501(?) (PCI, Composite HD/SD and DV).
Well, no problem to install both, but if he wants to capture from a Sony HD-Cam he is able to control it, but there is no preview shown but you can hear the sound. In fact Edius (Edius Pro 3.22) really records the movie (you can see a preview-pic in the bin).
Next problem is it doesn't show anything if you're scrolling the timeline or playback the scene (also no sound but everything displayed in timeline). If you switch between both screens the unselected will show a still image and the selected one is only a black hole.
I really hope someone can help me with this issue!
