  • Prodad Vitascene transistions between PC's

Today I was going to work on a project I had been editing on my desktop PC using the laptop.
Edius 5 and all the add on's are installed just the same as the desktop. However when the project is loaded the transitions are different to the ones on the desktop.

I can only assume that something is re-set somewhere, can I just copy a file from the desktop to set the transitions as they should be?

    Any idea's anyone?

I assume it has to do with the lap top not being able to handle GPU effects, and are therefore not available.
Are some effects replaced by a standard dissolve ? than this is the case.
If not than others need to chime in who actually have the software, Edius 5 that is.

Still waiting for HDspark to become available, then i'll go for it ............

nope.. laptop is powerful enough and effects do work. for some reason Vitascene transisions had been set to a default, however i discovered if I opened the settings dialog box the transition was correct. Closed it and sure enough ALL timeline transitions are as they should be....

      Weird ;)
