  • Audio track is disappear! Please help...

    Hi, im editing my 4:3 DV format documentary. When i trying to put a clip on timeline, the clip is placing normaly on a VA channel which i want to put, but at the same time there is an extra twin audio track and its placing other VA channel! You can see it on the screenshot pic. Please help!

    there are many things that can cause this, I list some common ones

    1. you clicked the little V on the left of the track, this means the track will only accept video


    2. you mapped a track, right click the little A on the left of timeline and then click clear all tracks

      as seen in your screenshot, you mapped the tracks to a1 and a2

        It seems I am behind Anton today...;-)

        Anton has the answer with the clear all tracks. If you notice the little 1 and 2 on the side of your tracks by the audio, they indicate that you have the different channels mapped there. Clear all tracks and you should end up with one stereo track on VA1 if that is where you drag your clip.
