now, I would like to see that
Could have them for false advertising there.

I have the Sony BWU-200S, the older model but it is working great, never ever had a coaster, one warning, if you use BD-RE as a test disc, the file size can not exceed 22 gig, even though you have a 25G, it will say that file size exceed disc capacity, I don't think it has anything to do with the drive, it is the disc.

Great info as always – I guess I need to get Craig Mclauchlan to do my authoring!

Maybe he could have a look at one or two of our banks while he’s at it - he could up convert how much money we have in them!

So it looks the same for Blue Ray as it is for DVDs good quality blanks and not to fast, with a good quality named burner.

We made over 400 day DVD's this year again straight out of EDIUS using Print to DVD that went all over the world and the only complaints were...

Once when we used a cheap brand to burn on as we ran out of the ones we normally use and you guessed it, they did not play on some players.

The other time we have problems if we have burned faster than 4x.

So I would not recommend burning $$$ Blu-Rays faster than 4x which means long long burning times and get good quality ones.

The whole Blu_Ray thing is still a huge rip off, needs a couple more years yet.

    that is a big concern

when I make standard DVD, they play on 100% of players, not one return in the last 2 years

hopefully they make BD-R 100% compatible?

    Which Blur-Ray Writer?

    Hiya

I need to order my first blue ray writer – until now I’ve been authoring to DLTs and delivering standard DVD refs for clients.

Can anyone out there recommend a brand or model or perhaps more importantly what to ones to stay away from?

    Thanks for your time.
