USING EDIUS 4.61 new audio issue

[Imagine Video]

I have just captured all my footage for my latest video project - all ok!

When viewed on the left hand preview monitor all ok, when on the timeline all ok, with regard to sound

I have brought in some music wav files I have used many times from my copyright free folder and they are blowing out - seem very loud and peeking on the audio meter

I am in a 1440X1080i 50i project setting with no difference to my last project


I have brought in a HQ AVI file from my last project and its blowing out on the timeline also

Any Ideas? - If I drop the audio (music) by 6.5db it seems ok?

Try this : open Mixer Audio and, for each track, right-clic and choose re-initialize (reset).

I presume that you have checked that the 'rubber band' audio gain control setting is at normal level as also the track faders?

The 4.61 has a bug explained here : Audio Mixer
Especially in OHCI mode, but unknown with NX.
Strange ...
