If I have a video captured from a professional camera, how may I give it an effect of Hollywood films as seen in cinemas through video filters?

    Truth be told, you can't.
Most movies are shot on expensive 35mm film and some are shot on expensive HD cameras such as the Thomson Viper.

You can never get the quality unless you use these cameras.

However, you can "simulate" an effect by crushing blacks or whatever you want through filters.

Most movies have specific "feels" to them set by the Director of Photography.

Was there a specific movie you wanted to emulate?
You might want to take a look at this

When using Edius V5 you have built in film effects both in the NewBlueFX section and in Vitascene. Give it a try!

Dear STORMDAVE .... sorry for a little correction ;-)

your link refer to the old " Cinema Suite 2.0 " / 40 PRESETS LOOK (EDIUS)
current is the new Cinema Suite 3.0 "/ 65 PRESETS LOOK (EDIUS) >> this is the link to Cinema Suite 3.0 "/ 65 PRESETS

friendly greetings from europe to europe, from the "inhouse-librarian" ........... old (but not morbid) Hans
PS: Cinema Suite 3.0 runs on my WS always in RT,
with BueFX I have no RT
