  • EDIUS 5 Underwater Clip

    Hi
Here is another FLASH fullscreen H.264 clip to watch if you feel like it. (broadband)

    http://www.hdvunderwater.com/videos1/fun.html

    SPECS:
Edited the raw 1440/1080 m2t clips with the retail version of EDIUS 5.
All GPU effects played realtime....no rendering....
Out to a Canopus HQ file faster than realtime then into Mediacoder to output a single pass 960/540 H.264 @ CBR 1.5mbps file.
Mediacoder encoded out this H.264 file at about realtime speed.
Then fired up FLASH CS3 to make player and then into Dreamweaver CS3 to make the html page and onto the web.

    Enjoy....
Win 10 pro, Intel Core i7 8700K, ASRock Z370 Extreme 4, 16 GIGs Corsair Vengeance 3000 Ram, Single SATA drives, Nvidia GTX 560.

The fly in titles would have been done in Heroglyph, Correct?

Yes I used Heroglyph, it's quick and easy.

It's pretty cool that one can share stuff like this at the resolution now days on the net.

          Thanks for watching.

Interesting workflow, thanks for the insights. Also great footage, but did you have any "Steve Irwin" moments shooting those rays?

I have had encounters with many rays over the years some very large indeed with bards a foot long.

Steve Irwin should of know better, you never swim over the top of them... he stuffed up.

Steve should have stuck to what he knows best, crocks and snakes and he would be alive now
