Edius 5 ?'s about EX-1 and new GPU FX's

Does Edius 5 now support SonyEX-1 30p as a project setting with NX output?
We have 4.6 Broadcast version but that mode was not an available project setting.
Also, what type of playback in HD or HDV are users getting using the new GPU
FX's in Edius 5? I know its dependent on graphics card.
I have an older quadroFX1300 and was hoping for some user input on what graphics card may be a better choice, and how much better could be expected. I DL'd the new demo version but am in the middle of a project and don't want to uninstall my 4.6 right now.

The presets appear to be unchanged at this time.
NX offers only 29.97p over 59.94i (for preview I presume) at all resolutions.
You can edit in these settings and switch to OCHI for output.

It appears that interlaced is here, for a while anyway.

BTW... Edius handles .mxf well enough and manages the .xml right off the cards, amazing! FCP users drool.

You will have to stitch mxf files yourself if it is spanned across more than 1 P2 card :)

I agree though, it is kind of a pain in FCP to "log and transfer" all the P2 stuff to a .mov.

Sony Clip Browser v2 makes it a snap to make .mxf even from spanned files.
Drag and drop .xml directly from the card to Edius Bin... (grown men cry here)

(BTW... they're XsX, not P2 (old phraseology still lingering?))
