"Playback Stopped" message Edius 5

After installing EDIUS 5 I am constantly getting the message,
"PLAYBACK STOPPED" when trying to play clips on the timeline. I can get round it sort of by using shift+play to fill the buffer but it is not an ideal solution. Is there any fix for this?

Thanks Aristotelis. I hope they fix this soon because it makes editing very frustrating and almost unusable.
