Wow... Canada is not even on the list! This huge territory is "forgotten" by GV. Well, this is not a smart...

As in, who from TGV? No idea. I don't want to say it's Mike, in case it isn't him. :)

Went to the event today at the NFTS at Beaconsfield. For a first, unrehearsed, outing for the presenters I thought it gave a useful summary of the new features on offer. Antway it was sufficient to persuade me to order a copy.

Some preliminary information was given on ballpark UK prices for the cards expected later this year. They are unlikely to too accurate because the current, wild fluctuations in £:$:Euro FX rates will almost certainly mean they will be different when on sale. But with that caveat, indicated prices were as follows:
                  FireCoder Blu c£345; HDSpark (inc E5) c £525; Thunder (incE5 with HD-SDI) c£1500. These are exVAT prices.

The combination that looks interesting (to me) is the HDStorm plus Firecoder Blu, if and when I take the expensive plunge into AVCHD.

That's great. But, according to dates, I assume no one from USA GVT will go to Europe/Other?

I mean, doesn't really matter as long as I see first-hand what I wish to know, but c'mon, Europe's not so bad to visit, and especially Croatia. We have some great...great...um...

Actually, don't come over here. You're all to busy, stay where you are. :P
