  • Sorenson Squeeze Plugin?

Is there a way to output FLV format directly from the Edius timeline? I am running 4.6 now and will have 5.0 on one of our machines next week. I have ProCoder 2 and Sorenson Squeeze 4.5.7. Right now I am outputing to MSDV codec and using Squeeze to make FLVs for the web.

Yes, Export it as a quicktime export file H.264.....You end up with the file-extension *.mp4, after all is done, just rename the file-extension to *.flv and you are good to go

      h.264 - FLV

I must have done something wrong because the FLV fie won't play. I selected Export File, Procoder 2, QuickTime Exporter, File Type MP4, Export Type H.264. This made an MP4 which I renamed to FLV. That file won't play in my FLV player.

What parameters should I select to make this work?

      Thx. . .

hmm, I don´t have procoder 2, only procoder express. Only thing I can think of right now is that your flv player is too old ?, the above should work with flash video 9, try download vlc player and see if it works there ?
