I bought Ulead DVD Movie Factory 6+ about a year and a half ago.
It will work with files encoded from Procoder without reencoding.
I actually bought it to do HDDVD's. They added blu-ray to it and I only used it a couple of times. It is a little to rudimentary for my final BD deliveries.
If you want a pretty basic look, this will do it. I still use the image burning portion though.

For HD, you're better to use an MPEG or AVCHD format (ie. let EDIUS do the encoding work - it'll be faster anyway).

Many question my use of uncompressed master files. Yes, it takes more space. But, it takes the headaches away and it is recognized in all encoders and NLE's. Something to consider....if you have the drive space. Edius is not the only NLE I use.

    Thanks Kenneally
I was just looking to see if the ULEAD mpeg codec worked any better at downsizing but it does not.
I gave it a full HDV m2t file and the jaggies and zebra were as bad as I have seen elsewhere without VirtualDub etc at SD
Accepted the HD m2t without a murmer and recognized the 16:9 but not from the HQ, anyway the jaggies preclude it from any use at down converting but may come ito use when I decide to go Blueray. Good addition!
    Regards Barry

Bundled ULEAD Movie Factory Problem with Aspect

The bundled Ulead DVD Movie Factory with E5 does not seem to recognise the 16:9 flag on a DV or HQ file in Either 720x576 or 1440x1080 AVI
Sets the video up squashed and there does not seem to be a way of changing
    Works OK with MPEG Files
Anyone else run up against this yet or have I missed something
