  • ProCoder 3 update for EDIUS5

Just letting EDIUS 5 users know that it's now available in the download section under ProCoder3.

    -------------------------------------
This update contains several improvements and bug fixes to the release version. This update is a full installer and as such, you do not require a previous version of ProCoder 3 to be installed already. It is recommended that you remove any previous versions of ProCoder (including v1 and v2) before installing this package.

    New Features
    • Support added Thomson Grass Valley EDIUS version 5

    Issues Fixed
    • Fixed issue when transferring original timecode for long files

    Known Issues/Limitations
    • Fade in, fade out, or clip features cannot be seen on the preview screen, but the effects will be applied correctly to the exported file
    • When setting multiple MPEG-2 HD, H.264 or Windows Media targets at the same time, the files may not be converted properly
    • 1920x1080 AVCHD target files are not supported
    • The 1920x1080 Blu-ray MPEG-2 target presets all use a 23.97p frame rate setting. You can manually adjust to the correct value, and re-save the preset

    Hi Dave,
Thanks for the info. I logged into the Canopus website but couldn't find a PC3 download anywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

It's in the Product Related Downloads section if you registered your copy of Procoder 3.

Thanks THoff. I only ever have had PC Express. That was why I couldn't find a download.
        regards
