Oh. Did you read the manual? You have to use the small cable that routes NX's out to the line in of your sound card. Once you do that, all the sound from the NX will be routed to your line out of your sound card.

Right now I have routed my NX out to the line in of my sound card and raised the level from the volume control of line in.

But if there is no signal out from NHX-E2? That little cable wont help me!

If there is no signal out of the NX then you will not get any sound.

I am still not clear on what you're trying to accomplish.

Are you trying to record something through the NX? I usually start DVCapture (selecting rear NX in) and launch Audition to capture audio. I make sure that Line In is properly leveled.

I just tried to render part of my project (from that one wich i can hear thru my soundcard) and the sound is ok?

Some projects are playing thru soundcard, some thru NHX-E2.

I always use Cubase to edit sound, and is pasted into project separately.
So why is doing something like this?

If you're in a hardware project setting, you'll get audio output from the hardware being used. If you're in an OHCI project setting, you'll get audio output from your operating system's sound hardware.

Plug that cable Dave is talking about, then you vill have the audio from edius and the NX routed trhue the audiocard and your audio app will use the audiocard also: Al audio will be out from the audiocard.

correct, I bet all my money that your project is not set to use the NX whenever you hear no sound

simply go to project settings and change it to use the NX
