Edius on Vista 64-bit

Hi,
I was curious does Edius 5.0 run faster on Vista Utimate 64-bit than XP Pro 32-bit? Is Eduis 5.0 stable or should I wait to upgrade?

I don't know if it is faster than in XP32Bit.
What I can say - it is stable.The new Output Modules
are super fast(compared to PCE and PC3) and Edius 5 is using the installed Memory up to 3,75GB in a 4GB setup during rendering.

It runs very nicely in Vista 64. It may be slightly faster but not enough to upgrade just for that. Remember there are no 64 bit drivers for the new Storm HD yet.

E5 runs like a champ on Vista 64 Ultimate in my Sager Q6400 laptop.

My favorite comparison of Vista comparison is in program switching. With XP Pro on a Q6700 system, Edius takes about 10 sec. to come from minimized to restored state. With Vista it tales less than a second.
