I think they use these lights to steer photons in a circle somewhere in France/Switzerland.

But there must be a reson.
Mide be so you can take a walk and away from the laptop in a big dark space, get some coffe and go back in a stright line to wards the lap and no worry bout not taking a flash light to find it a gain.

Is it me or is the new dongles ridiculously bright? My new laptop has no USB on the back and the light on the side is very distracting! (boats on the coast are steering clear)

Maybe I just need another roll of gaffers tape.
