  • EDIUS 5 - Issue when applying GPU effect on a title

    Dear All,

I started using GPU on titles in tha V tracks which are really great.

However sometimes, when applying a GPU effecs on the title, the effect is applied in the video layer at the back of the title and not the title itself.

Are you experiencing this issue too?

    Am i doing something wrong?

    Thanks
    Kostas Κ.

I think Brandon found this one - for some of the effects, you need to use an Out effect instead of an In effect.

(or see if the effect's config panel allows for swapping of A and B clips)

I tried all the effects on GPU and could not apply any on the title track. But If you put the title on any V track, it will work.

However, you can use TitleMixers to have some effects on the title track.

Yeah, depending on how the transition is designed, you either need to apply it as an Out effect instead of an In effect, or some of them have a Reverse option that you can use.
