  • Replaced video card- all GPU transitions gone...

This is interesting. Under Win Vista 64 I replaced 8800GT video card with GTX 280- I wanted to test Vitascene performance- after I installed driver and reastarted computer, all GPU transitions just dissapeared...
    Should I reinstall? Why?
    Thanks

when Edius5 is installed, it checks your graphics card and installs GPUFX if the card is suitable

now the card is gone, so are the GPU FX

so you need to reinstall Edius5, that will bring them back providing the new card is detected as suitable, it should be as long as its similar or better than what you had

Interesting, and kudo's Anton for knowing the answer. How did you know?

Mike, please let us know how Vitascene performs when you get it going.

Don't expect miracles from Vitascene... it's a GPU hog!
It may play colors and photo flash, but bokeh and sparkles are impossible!

in a case of non realtime, select transition, double click ruler above transition, press shift+Q (takes seconds only)
