I think this one is user error.
If you put five clips on the timeline you should put in out on each clip (one after the other) and then add to batch export.
It works perfect.

believe me, if batch export was not working correct, I would be cheesed offLeave a comment:

I deleted one clip from the timeline and inserted a new clip. batching each clip to the render queue, but, I never set in/outs. maybe that's my problem...I'll go back and re-try it.
edit: nope, still repeats the last inserted clip for each render. guess I'll have to wait for the full v5 before testing further.Last edited by cuervo; 09-18-2008, 02:13 PM.Leave a comment:

100% sure, I just checked them again and they are correct
maybe a problem with the trial version
are you sure you set in and out each time to a new location?Leave a comment:

Anton...
Did you actually render out the clips and look at them? In my instance, the names were carried thru, ie, each was named differently, in fact, each displayed a different file size(?). But, when I played them back, they all had the same content.Leave a comment:

works fine here with the full version, I have not tested the trial

Batch Export not Working in V5
I've been using EDIUS v5 demo. I really like the speed of EDIUS.
Unfortunately, I tried to use the batch export feature and all 5 exports were populated with the same clip, even tho' I exported 5 different clips.
I'm not expecting any support, just thought I'd bring it to someone's attention.Tags: None
