Uh... I'm not sure what titler you're looking at, but Quick Titler looks vastly improved to me.
Lines, rectangles, circles, images with alpha, easy lower thirds, silly stretchable dialog balloons, layers and probably more. It works great with the new GPUfx transitions so now they roll, peel and wave on.
I was under the impression the Titler tracks may have disappeared in v5, but there they are.

Rusty,
Thanks. I WAS refering to the native Edius titler, but was just asking the question to see if anything has changed since I haven't had the time to install the trial yet... but thanks for the heads up, from what you've said it definately sounds like a great improvement.. good news if that's the case.
QuickTitler has received some additional features, as Rusty mentioned.
EDIUS v1.0 shipped with Title Express, actually. TMP for EDIUS didn't start shipping till v3.
I know this is an old thread, but this is not accurate. I got TMP with version 2 of Edius. That's why I was surprised when I got my Edius 5 upgrade and discovered there was no way for me to use TMP with it because there's no upgrade path from version 2. And, if you don't believe me, I have the disk. ;-) I guess I'll just have to keep my Edius 2.5 system running so that I still can use TMP, although it requires painful workarounds.

Ah yes, it was ProCoder Express that debuted with v3. In any event, if you really want TitleMotion Pro for EDIUS v5, you can pick up a separate copy for $299 MSRP.
Really? Disappointing that probably the weakest part of the software has not been improved.
Months ago, I lobbied Canopus to offer plug-in support for the Bluff titler developers but AFAIK nothing happened.... as I said, disappointing

To be honest we have tried contacting a few companies over the last months and many of the smaller companies seem to have a problem getting back with us.
Now, I do not know if the Bluff titler folks were contacted or not, but we are finding some of the smaller software houses kinda hard to communicate with.
