Yes, there is will be an updated video output plug-in pack that provides support for the newer boards. HDSTORM is first, and then HDSPARK and HDTHUNDER will com later.

Without a BOB $2499 still seems to be expensive when compared to
BM Decklink HD Extreme.

AFAIK it has previews for Edius, AFX, PS, 3DS Max and more. Not LW though I think.

It is still more expensive, than the Decklink, but it is pure Edius (so it wuill work) and it probably has the same chip as the HDStorm for HQ capture/Encoding, which makes it a great card for us Canopus users.
