Creating HD mp2 with 5.1 audio

Is there a way of creating 1920x1080 MPEG2 with either AC3 or WAV 5.1 audio as a single file from Edius?
I have come close using MPEG-2 Program Stream set to HP @ HL with audio set to PCM 6 ch encoding from a timeline with 6 mono audio tracks. When encoded the file has no audio (according to mediainfo) and is mute if played back in mediaplayer classic or VLC. If I drag the file onto an Edius timeline it shows up as 6 audio tracks but they are all mute.

As far as I know, no. If someone can do it, I hope they post it here.

The way I end up doing it is a work around.
I create the six files required and import them into Audition 3. I can create the center, sub, and lf,rf,lr,rr, files in the proper ratio. I then make the mix and export as single files into Media Twins AC3-Pro (front and backs can be stereo files and the program will handle it properly). I bought this back int 2006 for 50 bucks. For the price, it works like a charm.
Just import into the panel and it creates the sincle AC-3 file that you need for Encore and DVDITPROHD. I would guess that it would work in any authoring package.
Here is a link and it has a free trial as well. When I bought this I looked at it as a throw away. Anything under 100 dollars I kinda chalk up to experience if it doesn't work. Still using it though.
