Use the Pegasus-Card with the AJA Converter HI5. I used it. It was fine. I have captured DVDPCRO via SDI. You can capture up to 1920 x 1080/50i in 4:2:2

    Regards,

    I.

It doesn't have an onboard HQ chip, though, which means it's less likely to be bound to one particular format over others.
Have they changed their minds on a BOB yet. Not having, at least a break out cable, limits the I/O for a potentially decent card. Being able to capture to multiple codecs or compressed would be a plus as well. I did read that it is HDMI output only and HD/SD SDI I/O.

Or HDTHUNDER, which ships later this year - it will accept HD SDI.

no, you can't.... SP SDI has ONLY SD inputs from both SDI and component...
I think that the only solution from GV is the full HD turnkey system....

    HDcam via Card SP-SDI

With the SP-SDI card, is it possible to capture a 4:2:2 signal from a HDCAM
If yes, via SDI or components?
